I don’t have a long list of wins for you. I’m not handing you a perfectly tied-up recap of the year. I just have proof. Proof that one goal, one mindset shift, one quiet decision made in private can change everything if you have the nerve to stay with it long enough to see it through. Not once. Not when it’s easy. But again and again.
At the top of the year, I didn’t ask to go viral. I didn’t ask for speed. Or stats. Or shortcuts. I wrote one thing: “The Year of Living in My Purpose.”
That was the assignment. That was the vision. I didn’t just “set” the goal. I structured my life around it.
-I wrote to you every week, even when it was few subscribers or I was dead tired
- I showed up on on a podcast, even when I felt unsure
-I said yes to visibility that scared me
- I took my brand seriously because I finally took myself in this position seriously
- I lived in abundance unapologetically from the fruits of my calling
I didn’t wait to feel ready. I moved like I already was. And not because I had something to prove. But because I remembered. I remembered who I said I was.
It’s not always about reinventing yourself every year like a seasonal rebrand. It’s about remembering the version of you, you said you were and having the heart to follow through. Every time I wanted to abandon the plan, every time I wanted to hit reset just because it stopped feeling shiny, every time I started thinking a new vision meant I needed a new identity, I stopped dead in my tracks. I pursued returning to what was already deemed mine with structure, with systems.
I will say it time and time again you might not need a bigger vision next year (but if that is required Sis, Go awf, Im hype as fuck for you!) it may be just as simple as to stop ignoring the version of you who’s been whispering the same truth since 1999:
This is who we are. Stop playing with it.
My advice?
Don’t start the year with chaos. Don’t spiral your way into overplanning. Start with belief. Start with presence. Start by acting like you believe her, the woman who already lives inside you, waiting on you to trust her enough to stay consistent.
The one who’s not waiting for a new year. She’s waiting on you.
That’s the goal.
That’s the plan.
That’s the proof.
Thank you for letting me be part of your rhythm this year. Whether you read every letter or skimmed a few in bed with one eye open , I’m glad we built something together. I’ll see you next year. Still becoming. Still building. Still choosing. Let’s go even deeper in 2026 but first, let’s close this chapter with reverence. Because you didn’t just survive this year. You showed up for it.
And that…
is worth everything.
